privileged container
a container allowed to control its host machine
A container is a packaged app that shares one machine with others, kept apart from them. A privileged container drops most of that separation and can act on the machine itself. Whoever controls one can take over the whole server. Most companies refuse them by policy unless strictly needed.

A hotel guest whose room key also opens the building's master controls.
