Privacy Policy — Shini Frontiers
What we collect
Your email address and password when you create an account; your chosen topic preferences; which ideas you read (to power your For-you feed); and standard technical logs. Payments are processed by Razorpay (for customers in India) or Paddle (internationally) — we never see or store your card details.
What we use it for
Sending the Monday and Friday digests you signed up for, personalising your reading experience, operating your subscription, and improving the product. We do not sell your data. We do not share your reading behaviour with anyone.
Who we share with
Only the service providers required to operate: Amazon Web Services (hosting, India/Singapore regions), Razorpay and Paddle (payments), and our email delivery provider. Each receives only what it needs for its function.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie, to keep you signed in. That's it. No analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking. Because we don't track you, there's nothing for you to opt out of.
Your rights
Email contact@shinifrontiers.com to access, correct, or permanently delete your data. Deletion removes your account, preferences, and reading history within 30 days. Unsubscribe from emails any time with one click in any digest.
How long we keep your data
We keep your account data for as long as your account is open. If you close your account or ask us to delete it, everything is removed within 30 days. If an account stays inactive for 24 months with no sign-in and no digest opens, we delete it and tell you by email before we do. Payment records are kept for 8 years, as Indian tax law requires.
Accounts and age
Accounts are for users 18 and above. Our open content is readable by everyone without an account.
Where you are in the world
Shini Frontiers serves readers globally. We honour the data protection rights that apply where you live — including the GDPR if you are in the EU/UK, and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, where our company is registered. Whatever your country, the same rights apply in practice: access, correction, deletion, and one-click unsubscribe. This policy is updated when our practices change; the date above always reflects the current version.
