Holo4: an AI model that operates business software, for operations teams
What it is: Holo4 is an AI model from H Company that carries out tasks on a computer, much as an employee would. It can read what is on the screen and click and type, and it can also connect directly to other software through an API, a built-in link between systems.
Who it's for: businesses whose staff spend time moving work between several software systems and who want an AI to take those tasks over.
The catch: it fully completes only about four in ten long tasks, so its work still needs checking, and an engineer has to set it up before anyone can use it.
Microsoft's free test kit for choosing the AI model behind an agent
What it is: ThinkingBox is Microsoft's free test environment for AI agents, with 507 business scenarios and published results for 18 models.
Who it's for: companies choosing the AI model behind an agent. Beyond Microsoft's 18, a team can connect any other model and score it on the same scenarios. It shows which model gets the work right every time, and what each reliable result costs.
The catch: the scenarios are Microsoft's made-up ones, not your own workflows, and running it yourself needs a developer.
Google's open-source AI phone tester for Android app teams
ARTEMIS is a free, open-source AI agent from Google that tests Android apps on a real phone, the way a human tester would. Someone types an instruction in plain English, such as "open Settings and check the battery level is shown", and ARTEMIS taps through the app and reports whether it worked.
Nvidia's Nemotron Lightning and Switchyard: free tools for companies running AI agents
An AI agent is software that uses an AI model to finish a task on its own, step by step, such as a coding assistant that reviews code or a support bot that answers billing questions. Nvidia has released two free, open tools for companies running one: Nemotron 3.5 Lightning, a small AI model that does the agent's routine steps quickly, and NeMo Switchyard, a library that decides which AI model handles each step.
Anthropic's free starter kit for AI shop assistants
Commerce Agents is free starter code from Anthropic for two separate AI assistants built on Claude: one that helps a store's customers shop, and one that helps its staff run the back office. It is a blueprint: the store's developers connect it to the store's own systems.
